The difference is the fact that feldspathoids lack the quantity of silica to ensure they are into completely feldspars throughout the formation procedure. They, as feldspars, are aluminum silicates of potassium, salt, and/or calcium. The team that is feldspathoid in the tectosilicates subdivision of this silicates team.
